Olivia is a licensed funeral director and second-generation member of O’Connell Funeral Home. Growing up in the family business and now approaching a decade of serving families alongside her parents, Olivia has seen firsthand the importance of compassion, honesty, and a personal touch—values that continue to guide her work today.
A graduate of Little Chute High School, Olivia went on to pursue her education in funeral service before returning home to join her parents at the funeral home. In addition to serving families at the time of a death, Olivia is a licensed insurance agent and works closely with individuals and families interested in planning ahead. She places great importance on education and helping people feel confident in the decisions they make, which led her to develop and lead O’Connell Funeral Home’s Planning with a Purpose educational series. Through both prearrangements and community programs, Olivia strives to create opportunities for people to ask questions, understand their options, and feel more confident making decisions for themselves and their families.
Olivia remains actively involved in the community she grew up in. She volunteers with the Miracle League of the Fox Valley, serves as Vice President of the Kiwanis Club of Little Chute, coaches volleyball at Little Chute High School, sits on the St. John’s School Board of Education, and serves as Sponsorship Coordinator for Holy Cross Parish’s annual Oktoberfest.
When she isn’t at the funeral home or out in the community, Olivia loves to travel, spend time with family and friends, enjoy time on the golf course, and keep up with Leinie, her lovable—and perpetually drooly—Newfoundland.
For Olivia, funeral service is much more than a profession—it is a family legacy she is proud to be a part of. She looks forward to one day carrying forward what her parents have built, while continuing to grow O’Connell Funeral Home for the next generation. Above all, she hopes to preserve what has always mattered most: remaining truly family owned and providing the personal, compassionate care families have come to know and trust.

Tim is a native of Chippewa Falls. Because his father's occupation required that they moved around some, they ended up in the Milwaukee area in the early nineties, where he and Jenny met. After working part time in funeral homes for a number of years, Tim decided to pursue his college degree and graduated from mortuary school in 1999.
Jenny is a Milwaukee native, having graduated from St. Joan Antida High School in 1989. She started her funeral director apprenticeship in 1992 and graduated from mortuary school in 1994. Tim and Jenny were married in September of 1994. They moved to the Fox Valley in 2000. Together, they have two children, Olivia and Quinn. Olivia currently attends Fox Valley Technical College. She will spend a year at Milwaukee Area Technical College to complete her degree in Funeral Service. Quinn attends Little Chute High School.
Tim and Jenny are members of St. John Nepomucene Parish and the Little Chute Kiwanis Club. Tim also serves on the community advisory board for St. Paul Hospice program. As a family, the O'Connell's enjoy outdoor activities, including camping and boating. Tim loves to tinker -- whether it's a creation for the science fair or tackling some do it yourself project at home, always with Quinn at his side. Jenny loves to read and cook. Through the years, Tim, Jenny and Quinn spent many hours on the bleachers, cheering for Olivia's softball, volleyball or basketball teams.

Quinn is a second-generation member of the O’Connell team and, depending on the day, can be found just about anywhere. While his official role at O’Connell Funeral Home may be difficult to define, the family jokingly refers to him as the “project manager”—a title that has proven surprisingly accurate.
Much of Quinn’s work happens behind the scenes, helping care for the funeral home and the properties that surround it. From heading up landscaping and tackling renovations to fixing whatever needs fixing next, he has had a hand in many of the projects that keep the funeral home looking and feeling its best. When an extra set of hands is needed, Quinn trades the work clothes for a suit and is always willing to step in alongside the rest of the family.
Like his sister, Quinn grew up around the family business and understands that caring for a funeral home means more than what happens during a service. For Quinn, being part of a family business means there is rarely such a thing as “not my job.” Whether he is working alongside his dad on the next project, helping things run smoothly on a busy day, or making improvements behind the scenes, Quinn plays an important part in the day-to-day life of O’Connell Funeral Home.
Outside of work, Quinn enjoys spending time with friends, going to concerts, snowmobiling, and just about anything that gets him out on the water. He’s always up for a good road trip, often with Jerry, his energetic Irish Setter and frequent partner in adventure.
