Wilma M. Schroder, age 83, passed away with her loving family at her side on Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born in Darboy to the late Anthony and Juanita (Wilson) Wyngaard on April 22, 1942. She was baptized at Holy Angels Church in Darboy, and after graduating high school, married the love of her life, Robert Schroder, on August 22, 1969. They spent the next 50 years together before his death in March of 2020. Outside of her work in the knitting mill, Wilma enjoyed Bingo, playing pool, reading, puzzles, playing cards, and vacationing.
Wilma is survived by her children: Christine (Jon) Coenen, Kenneth (Tori) Wyngaard, Dean (Sarah Peterson) Schroder, and Jennifer (Mike Hermes) Holton; her stepdaughter, Renee Weber; grandchildren: Megan (Parker), Molly (Chase), Maria (Nick), Austin (Abigail), Kala (Rocky), Sky, Storm (Joe), and Breeanna (Drew); and great grandchildren: William, Darlah, Abby, Liam, Morgan, Myles, with another due in December. Wilma is further survived by her brothers: Anthony Jr. (Darlene) Wyngaard, John (Judy) Wyngaard, Francis (Linda) Wyngaard, and Marvin (Ken) Wyngaard; sisters: Donna (Neal) Dercks, Lynn (Ron) Brux, and Karen (Fred) Young; and brother-in-law, Milton Mahnke; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her infant grandson, Justin Coenen; her siblings: Doris Mahnke, and Lester (Francine), Elroy (Sharon), Dean, and Dale Wyngaard; her parents-in-law, Ray and Alice Schroder; and her siblings-in-law: Raymond (Mabel) Schroder, Phyllis (Elmer) Mathe, Joyce (Howard) Ehrhardt, Elta (Herb) Miller, Orville Schroder, and Ida Mae Schroder.
Visitation for Wilma will be held at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH – ST. MARY CHURCH (119 W. 7th Street, Kaukauna) on December 2, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 10:45 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Luke Ferris officiating.
Wilma's Family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Michael & Kathy Hermes for their friendship and support over the years, the staff and nurses at ThedaCare Hospice, and to Jen, Sky, Mike, Marvin, and Karen for their loving care and attention to grandma.
