William Bernard Vandenboom, age 83, of Hortonville, died in Appleton on Friday, April 1, 2022. He was born in Little Chute to the late Bernard and Mary (Williamson) Vandenboom on February 4, 1939. William "Bill" Vandenboom married Alice Dietzen on June 6, 1964, at Sacred Heart Church in Appleton. Bill enjoyed working in the yard, feeding the birds, and tinkering with little projects.

Bill is survived by his son Wade (Wendy), Shiocton, grandchildren Blake and Hayley; his son Mark (Becky), Appleton, grandchildren Lindsey (Dan) Kleitsch, great grandson Sawyer; Allison (fiancé Brenden Mueller).

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Alice (Dietzen) Vandenboom.

The family wishes to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Brewster Village and ThedaCare Hospice for the care they gave Bill.
