William J. "Bill" Tennessen, Little Chute, age 56, died January 24, 2016. He was born in Kaukauna to the late Arthur and Eileen (Kobussen) Tennessen. Bill worked in the painting business for over 30 years. He started working for Custom Painting, with his brother Mike and most recently, owned and operated Bill Tennessen Painting and was known as the "Happy Painter." He enjoyed going up north to Perch Lake to hunt and fish with his son, Travis and other family members. Bill also enjoyed attending Emily and Travis' sporting events, and watching the Packers, Badgers and Brewers with family and friends. In his earlier years, Bill was passionate about designing and installing his own landscaping.

Bill is survived by his children: Emily (Ben) Hermus of Little Chute and Travis (girlfriend Morgan Holz) Tennessen of Kaukauna; his children's mother: Lois (Ed) Zwick-Perez; and his newest blessing, grandson Daniel Hermus. He is further survived by his siblings: Tom (Gloria) Tennessen, Mike (Ellen) Tennessen, Fay Beach, Tony (Brenda) Tennessen and Jill Manders; as well as special cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Frank Beach.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 6:00 p.m. The Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen will officiate.
