William "Bill" F. Maurer, 82, Kimberly, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014. He was born on June, 25, 1932 to the late Walter and Elsie (Stock) Maurer. He graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 1950 and then served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War. On June 29, 1957 he married Donna M Konop.
In 1963 Bill started and successfully ran ABM (Appleton Business Machines) Office Systems until his retirement in 1995. For the past 19 years he enjoyed his retirement in Naples, FL, Waubee Lake in Lakewood, WI and Kimberly with his wife Donna, family and friends. Bill was an active volunteer in the communities he lived.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; four children, Dan Maurer (special friend Diane), Bill Maurer, Tim (Sherri) Maurer, Tom (Jeanne) Maurer; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Kelsey, Haelee, Danielle, Lukas, Elizabeth and Grant Maurer; two brothers, Elroy (Margaret) Maurer and Walter (Gerri) Maurer; as well as many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Lois Maurer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 4pm to 7pm at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute. Visitation will continue at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH - KIMBERLY, 620 E. Kimberly Avenue, on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 9am to the hour of Funeral Mass at 10:30am with Rev. Robert Kollath officiating.
