Obituary

William "Skip" E. Coon, age 74, of Menasha, died at his home on Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was born in Appleton on June 5, 1947, to the late Woodrow and Eileen (Wichman) Coon. Skip married Tuesday Boelter on July 25, 2009. Skip served his country for four years, being in the Navy from 1964 to 1968. He loved karaoke and was in the band, "The Rim Shots", as well as playing with "Midnighters" and a few other bands.

Skip is survived by his wife, Tuesday; his daughter, Angela Olsen; his stepson, Paul (Amber) Micholic; and his grandchildren: Molly, Meagan, Hunter, Madison, Luis, and Emmy La Rue. Skip is further survived by his siblings: Lynn (Richard) Stibbe; Toni (George) Appel; Shirley Barbour; Sandy Coon; John (Rose) Coon; Raymond "Scott" Coon; Dale Coon; and Kelly Coon; his mother-in-law: Mary Boelter; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Skip is preceded in death by his brother Scott Coon; and brother-in-law, Robert Barbour.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at CALVARY CHAPEL (2136 E. Newberry St., Appleton) beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Dwight Douville officiating. Military honors, conducted by the William Verhagen American Legion Post 60, will immediately follow.   Committal Community Lutheran Cemetery.
