Warren R.
Hacker
July 24, 1954 – May 16, 2025
Warren R. Hacker, Town of Buchanan, age 70, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 16, 2025. He was born in Appleton on July 24, 1954 to the late Russell and Bernice (DeBruin) Hacker. Warren married Patricia Niesz at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church on May 28, 1976. Together they built a family foundation on faith and love with Warren as the leader. He continued to lead in this way with his children and grandchildren, with Pat by his side for 49 years. In Warren's younger years, he played on many fast and slow pitch softball teams. He volunteered countless hours at the ballpark, raking fields and coaching his children. His love for the game continued as he cheered on his grandchildren with all their activities. Warren loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He wouldn't miss his annual fishing trip or his Thursday night golf league with his friends. By nature, he was not one to sit around and was always doing something or had a project. Two of his biggest projects were building their family home and cabin. Warren was a very faith filled man and an active member of St. John Nepomucene Parish as part of several Men's Groups and most recently as a mass server. He enjoyed several years of employment at Mold Supplies, Inc.
Warren is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia; children: Greg (Valerie) Hacker, Appleton; Lisa (Rob) Michno, Oshkosh; and Dan (Jodi) Hacker, Appleton; grandchildren: Pierson, Lane and McCoy Hacker; Haydin and Declan Hacker; and Aubrey and Amber Michno; brothers: Bryan (Paula) Hacker, Jeff (Kathie) Hacker, and Ken (Lynn) Hacker; and sisters-in-law: Sandy (Ron) Diedrick, Linda Rasmussen, and Julie (Bill) Schider. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Bernice Hacker; and Pat's parents, Jack and Ethel Niesz.
Visitation will be held August 20, 2025 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute) from 3:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. His Funeral Mass will follow at 5:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ronald Belitz officiating. Committal St. John Cemetery.
