Obituary

Our loving mother, Vivian (Fulcer) Kaufman, 82, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday April 6, 2011. Vivan "giver of life" was born on November 23, 1928 in Appleton, daughter of the late Milton and Mary Fulcer. She had such unconditional love and was filled with so much kindness. Her whole life, her "career" was taking care of children, her's and many others who came to know her as "grandma."

Vivian will be greatly missed by her husband of 65 years, Joe; and her 11 children: JoAnn Koehnke, Ginna (Jack) Heegeman, Dave (Linda) Kaufman, Judy (Roger) Regeth, Mike Kaufman, Ralph (Diane) Kaufman, Mary (Steve) Ready, Debbie (Steve) Wilson, Greg (Kim) Kaufman, Dan (Laurie) Kaufman and Ann (Ken) Hansen. She will also be deeply missed by her 26 grandchildren: Trisha (Dan) Rawlings, Tim (Kimbre) Kiley, Katy (Tim) Schultz, John (Misie) Heegeman, Joe Kaufman, Willy Kaufman, Paul (Kellie) Kaufman, Denny (Doreen) Kaufman, Toni Kaufman, Bob (Julie) Ristow, Keith Ristow, Mike Jr Kaufman, Tommy Kaufman, Ronnie Kaufman, Christy Fristch, Amanda Christophersen, Chris Hermes, Kory Hermes, Levi Ready, Jessie Dercks, Shannon (Jon) Callies, Dan Jr Kaufman, Shawn (Corrie Elmore) Kaufman and Jimmi (Kaitlyn Colombo) Hansen; 52 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Vivian is also survived by her sisters Barbara and Angeline and her brothers Jerome and Ronnie. She made 2 special friends at the home, Alice and Betty, that helped brighten her days. She is further survived by all her "adopted" children and grandchildren, especially her niece Mary Ann.

Vivian was preceded in death by her sons-in-law Bob and Jim; grandsons Jamie, Troy and Billy; great granddaughter Ally; sister Sissy; and brothers Tommy, Danny, Clifford and Gerald.

Visitation will be held Monday April 11, 2011 at ST. MARY PARISH (312 S. State St. Appleton) beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 4:00 p.m. The Rev. David J. Funk, O.F.M. Cap. will officiate and Rev. Robert Lexa will concelebrate. Committal St. Mary Cemetery. For on-line condolences please visit www.oconnellfh.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
