Steven A. Haferbecker, Appleton, age 59, died at his home on Sunday, April 25, 2021.  He was born in Chicago on January 23, 1962 to the late James and Patricia (Nicolais) Haferbecker.  Steve loved fishing, listening to some Rock n Roll, and hanging out with his family and friends. He loved being involved in every aspect of his daughter's and grandchildren's lives. From karate practices to school plays to birthday parties, he tried to be around for it all.

Steve is survived by his daughters:  Samantha (Justin) Jatczak and Trish (Berthony) Charles; grandchildren:  Kane, Arlo, Niko, Tatiana, Anthony, Trinity, Anyia, Barcari, and Brayden; brother, Timothy Haferbecker; and sister-in-law, Lisa Haferbecker.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother, David.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 12:00 noon with Deacon Bruce Corey officiating.  Military rites, conducted by the Kaukauna V.F.W. Post 3319 and American Legion Post 41, will immediately follow.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
