Steven J. Godschalx, Little Chute, age 69, died at his home on Sunday, December 4, 2022.  He was born in Appleton on September 18, 1953 to the late Milo and Rosemary (Seggelink) Godschalx.  Following his time in the U.S. Air Force, Steven worked as a master electrician through the local union, a job he truly loved.  He will be remembered as a man that really cared about people.  Steven was a good neighbor and always willing to help a friend with their electrical projects.  He loved home cooking and had a soft spot for peanut butter cookies and rhubarb and apple pies – as long as the cinnamon was left out!

Most of all, Steven was a great brother and uncle and will be dearly missed.

Steven is survived by his siblings:  Marcia (Larry) Hansen of Stevens Point and James (Cathy Wedelstaedt) Godschalx of Midland, MI; niece, Melanie (Paul) Rector; nephews, Craig and Michael Godschalx; great nieces and nephew:  Savannah and Alexis Godschalx; Abigail, Gavin and Bryn Rector; and aunt, Sylvia Laux.  He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas (Janet) Godschalx.

A memorial service will be held for Steven at a later date.
