Steven L. Eggert, Kaukauna, age 76, died at his home on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.  He was born in Appleton on January 2, 1946 to the late Francis and Alice (Maynard) Eggert.  Steven served the U.S. Marine Corps for eight years and served two separate tours in Vietnam.  He married Cheryl Yunk in Appleton on November 25, 1967.  Steven wore many hats throughout his life.  He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and mechanical design draftsman; owned and operated a cross country trucking business and a True Value Hardware Store; and worked as an EMT, County Medical Examiner, and CPR/First Aid Instructor.

Steven is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Cheryl; children:  Yvette Eggert and Steven Eggert, Jr.; grandchildren:  Steven D. Eggert, Christa Eggert, Nicole Eggert, Evan Eggert, and Josie Stefanski; great grandchildren:  Raelynn Vigil and Freya Eggert; siblings:  Randy (Kim) Eggert, Fran (Roy) Hart, Judy (Mel) Gill, Pat St. Louis, Jenny (Rod) Markham, and Sue Eggert; and in-laws:  Yvonne Arft, Henry (Bev) Yunk, Sandy Eggert, Rowena Eggert, and Alice Eggert.  He is further survived by Sara Vigil, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his brothers:  James, Jeff, Richard, and Phil Eggert; and brothers-in-law: Edward Arft and LeRoy St. Louis.

In accordance with his wishes, no funeral will be held.
