Stella M. Sanders, Little Chute, age 99 died Friday September 30, 2011 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born March 4, 1912 in Freedom to the late Henry and Mary (Conrad) Romenesko. She married Lloyd Sanders on June 29, 1937 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 1957. Stella was a lifelong member of St. John Catholic Church. She worked in the meat department at Gordy's Food Fair until her retirement in 1984. The most important thing to Stella was her family and her faith. She loved cooking, playing cards, going up north and to the casino.

Stella's family included her children:

Carl (Coreen) Sanders of Combined Locks and their children Ann (Joe) Horn, Brian (Robin), Jon (Paula) and Guy Sanders;

Jan (Ed) Stanley of Appleton and their children Brenda (friend Rick Unser) Austin and Scott (Diane) Stanley;

Diane (Gerald) Wouters of Little Chute;

Dotty (Gary) Reybrock of Combined Locks and their children Dawn (Greg) Vosters, Lori (Kevin) Greenthal, David (Sara), Tim (friend Deanna Kolasinski) and Paul Reybrock;

and Don (Linda) Sanders of Appleton and their children Mark (Deanna) and Ryan (Becky) Sanders;

She was the proud grandmother of 33 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her husband and parents, Stella was preceded in death by her children Carl Sanders and Diane Wouters; siblings: Catherine, Walter (Mabel), Len (Gerry), Wenzel (Merella) and Joe (Barbara) Romenesko, Ann (Arn) Van Asten, and Margaret (Arnold Vanden Boogart) (John) Vanden Heuvel; and sisters-in-law Della (Gordon) Schepp and Edith (Al) Sanderfoot.

Visitation will be held Monday October 3, 2011 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 5:00 p.m. The Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen will officiate. Committal at St. John Cemetery.
