Shelly Lawver, age 50, passed away at her home Saturday January 29, 2022, surrounded by her family in Kaukauna. Shelly was born September 9, 1971, in Kaukauna to her loving parents Kirby and Margarette (Surprise) Vanden Bloomer. On July 19th 1997, Shelly married the love of her life Melvin M. Lawver. She was very active with her family whether she was watching the kids, playing outside, skating indoors, and going to sports games. Shelly loved her family dearly.  She also loved camping, fishing, cherry picking, bingo, traveling, and cookouts with family. Shelly enjoyed making people laugh and smile, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by many.

Shelly is survived by her husband, Melvin "Sonny" Lawver; siblings:  Mary Vanevenhoven, Tom VandenBloomer, Sandy Bartelt(Glenn), Terry (Sheila) VandenBloomer, Gary VandenBloomer,  Mike (Linda) VandenBloomer, Albert VandenBloomer, Lori VandenBloomer, Merlin (Linda) VandenBloomer, and Melvin VandenBloomer; and dogs, Cookie and Max, along with her best friend Michelle VandenBloomer.  She is survived by members of Sonny's family, their nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents Kirby and Margarette, Shelly was preceded in death along with her siblings: Tim VandenBloomer and Gordon VandenBloomer; and two brothers-in-law: Alan Vanevenhoven and Bill Revoir.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Steve Vande Hey officiating.
