Sheldon G. Brauer, of Kaukauna, formerly of Suring, age 65, died Wednesday February 19, 2014. He was born on May 23, 1948 to the late James and Hilda (Gardebrecht) Brauer. Sheldon served in the Air Force and was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He was a journeyman machinist and retired from Mid Valley Industries. Sheldon loved deer hunting and especially enjoyed the camaraderie of family and friends at the hunting shack.
Sheldon is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan (nee Chickering); daughters: Lesliegh Gerndt, Dundas; and Nicole (Ryan) Owens, Brookfield, IL; grandchildren: Gregory, Shawna, Katelyn and Finley; great grandson Otto; and sisters: Cindy (Nicholas) Trikoff, Sally (Dennis) Mole and Marlene (Kevin) Sargalas. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
