Sharon A. Shepherd, Kaukauna, age 78, died at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Appleton on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.  She was born in New London on December 23, 1942 to the late Roy and Anita (Burton) Young.  Sharon married Robert Shepherd in Pine City, MN on October 10, 1970.  She enjoyed reading, crafts, baking at Christmas, gardening, rummage sales, decorating for the holidays, and a good shake of the day.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert; children:  Kris (Jeff) Mohr, Menasha; Karen (George) Mayo, Sun Prairie; Bob, Shawano; Allan (special friend Jessica), Oshkosh; David (Michelle), Chippewa Falls; Lynne (David) Marshall, Kaukauna; and MaryJo (Tou) Lee, Menasha; 24 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; siblings:  Gerald (Jane) Young, Bear Creek, and Margaret (Rod) Yunker, Appleton; and brother-in-law, Don (Joan) Shepherd, Marinette, WI.  Sharon will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Ted and Edna Shepherd; brother, Melvin Young; and brothers and sisters-in-law:  Lawrence Yeager, Beverly Shepherd, Doris Fuerst, Norman Shepherd, Duane Shepherd, and Arleen Grobe.

Also, the family would like to thank Megan and the rest of her medical care team at Theda Care Regional Medical Center.
