Sharon A. "Bunny" Koester, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025, of pancreatic cancer. Sharon was born on April 13, 1945, to the late William and Christine Vogels. Sharon married Kenneth Koester on April 15, 1989, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Kaukauna. They spent over 35 years camping at Kenney Lake Campground in Marion, Wisconsin.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Ken; her two sons, Mark (Chris) Friebel, and Paul (Tracy) Friebel; her grandchildren: Brett (Paige) Friebel, Zachary (Jill) Friebel, and Kiana and Carson Van Dinter; and her great grandchildren: Gabriel and Teddy Friebel, and Nora, Sophia, Beckham, and Lauren Friebel. Sharon is further survived by one sister, Marlene Voissem; one brother, Bob (Marge) Vogels; and good friends, Floyd and Dianne Kempen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her infant grandchildren:  Shawntae and Brady Friebel; infant sister, Tresa Vogels; sisters: Laverne (Clyde) Howard and Dorothy (Ralph) Gallow; parents-in-law, Virgil and Thelma Koester; and brother-in-law, Francis Voissem. She is further preceded in death by 14 of her husband's siblings, as well as her good friends, George and Dolly Lund.

Visitation for Sharon will be held February 21, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. at IMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST (510 Sullivan Ave, Kaukauna). Her Funeral will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Lynn Martin officiating. Committal Union Cemetery.
