Sean M. Vannes, age 49, of Wausau, died September 26, 2022 after a three year battle to cancer. He was born in Algoma on November 7, 1972, to Dale and Mary (LaMaide) Vannes. Sean worked for Graphic Packaging for 19 years.

Sean is survived by his children, Dakota Vannes and Bryce Vannes; his parents, Dale and Mary Vannes; his brothers, Paul (Jennifer) Vannes and Chad Vannes; the mother of his children, Heather; and his nieces and nephews: Tre, Jarek, Payton, Logan, Justin, and Jeremy Vannes; Gabby and Emma Webster; Tyler and Mitch Steinke; and Paige Korpita.

Per Sean's wishes, a funeral will not be held. Sean asked that people make a donation to the cancer research center in your local area.
