Obituary

Scott J. Squier, of Kaukauna, age 65, fought a twelve year battle with cancer. God saw he was tired and took him home on Sunday, September 17, 2017. Scott was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin on March 6, 1952, the son of Daniel G. and Jean (Connell) Squier.   Following high school, he served in the Marine Corps. In his younger years, Scott loved to fish and hunt. He also enjoyed watching sports. Scott often kept to himself but found great camaraderie and friendship at Plan B. He went there often to drink coffee, play cards and have spirited discussions about last night's game.

Scott is survived by his mother and stepfather: Jean and Henry Hendricks of Freedom; brothers: Wallie (Laverne) and Terry (Sandy) Squier; sisters: Bonnie Brink, Julie (Gary) Fields, Valerie (significant other Mike) Squier and Stacy (David) Boucher; sister-in-law: Kristine E. Squier; and nieces and nephews: Jenny(significant other Janie), Amy (Tom), Shelly, Matthew, Tammy (Doug), Rick (Colleen), Paul (Allison), Haley, Daniel (Stephanie), Brittney, Courtney, Nicole (significant other Casey), Jeremy (Kacie), Samantha, Melinda (Paul), Katrina and Luke. He is further survived by many great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Scott was preceded in by death his father, Daniel; siblings: Paul, Hal and Cheryl Squier; and nephew, Bill Squier.

Scott's family would like to thank the nurses on the 4 th floor at St. Elizabeth Hospital (Naomi, Katy, Katie, Zorica and Erin) as well as Dr. Baum and the emergency room doctors for the care and compassion they gave to him.
