Obituary

Sally Ann Wuyts, Kaukauna, age 67, entered the loving arms of our Lord on Friday, September 27, 2024, following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Kaukauna on May 17, 1957 to the late Robert G. and Aureta E. (Toms) Wuyts.   Sally was employed by WI Wireless (later Marco Technologies, LLC) from August 1996 – February 2019 in the role of Executive Assistant.  Prior to that, she worked various jobs at Friday Canning Factory, Gillett; Kaukauna Club Cheese, Kaukauna; Mitel Telephone Communications, LLC, Little Chute; and Cream City Scale, Inc., Little Chute.

Summers were enjoyed at "Belly-Acers" on beautiful Berry Lake for many years with family reunions, pontoon rides and friends, the Edward Koleske and Len Mennings families.

Sally enjoyed canning, sewing, cooking, always browsing and collecting new recipes to try.  She later took over cooking the traditional family meals for the holidays and get togethers.  Sally was a marvelous mother, sister, and aunt, always there to help with a smile and advice.  A loving person who spoke kind words, and had lots of hugs and smiles for everyone she cared about.  Sally was a dependable, honest, and hardworking person.  She had a good sense of humor, but also a strong sense of responsibility.  Sally liked to stay busy and would look for things that needed doing.  She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and wonderful memories.

Sally is survived by her son, Joseph R. (fiancée Mellisa Sauerhammer and her daughter Auttumm) Wuyts of Hollandtown; siblings:  Kathryn L. (Douglas) Krueger of Berry Lake and Laura L. Anholzer of Brillion; uncle, Ollie V. (Robin) Toms of Appleton; and nieces and nephews:  Dr. Dawn Krueger, Greeley, CO; Col. Robert (Chandra) Krueger, Granby, CT; Raenee (Jaime) Delgado, Ft. Cobb, OK; and Michelle (Justus) Nichols, Greeley, CO.   She is further survived by numerous cousins and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert G. and Aureta E. Wuyts; nieces, Jessica and Sarah Smet; brother-in-law, Steven Anholzer; and special friend, Kathleen "Kitty" Koleske.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.  Her funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Lynn Martin officiating.  A memorial is being established.
