Sally L. Joseph Hahlbeck, Little Chute, age 82, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 7, 2017. She was born in New York City on October 6, 1934, to the late Bernard and Mildred (Harper) Joseph. Sally was an avid reader and enjoyed a spirited political conversation. She was a proud grandma and cherished time spent with her family. Sally was a very independent lady who through the years lived in Germany, Brazil and Ecuador. Later in life, she discovered her passion for camping. Together, she and Don traveled to every state west of the Mississippi, including two trips to Alaska.

Sally is survived by her children: Michael (Pamela) Vickerman of Madison; Mark (Amy) Hahlbeck of New Jersey; Kurt (Kathy) Hahlbeck of Appleton; and Katrina McGuire of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Daniel Vickerman, Max, Emily, Nicholas, Sydney, Alex and Ethan Hahlbeck, and Jacob, Alec and Michaela Smasal. She is also survived by the love of her life, Don Roehrborn, and other relatives and friends.
