Obituary

Heaven gained the sweetest angel on Friday, November 1, 2024.  Sally Ann Grady peacefully entered the gates of heaven after a very courageous battle with cancer.  Through it all, she remained focused on making sure her children, grandchildren, and close friends were being taken care of during her illness.

Sally was born to the late Alfred and Irene (Gough) Cummings in Kaukauna on May 26, 1960.

Sally is survived by her three children:  Tanya Grady, Jason Grady, and Nicole Grady.  They were her pride and joy and gave her the grandchildren she adored, who also survive her:  Leanisha, Lilly, Joivianna, Alexandra, Tavincia, Jazmin, Angel, Ismael, and Ava.  She is further survived by her beloved companion, Nacho; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her siblings:  Ronald (Diane), Robert, William, and Mark Cummings.

When she wasn't spending time with her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed gardening, scoring a good deal, and she definitely had and enjoyed the gift of gab.

Sally worked for many years for the Fox Valley Metro Police Department and the Village of Kimberly.  Storybook Garden in Kimberly was dedicated to Sally by the Kimberly Village Board for her excellence as a custodian for over 20 years.

Visitation will be held November 14, 2024 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.  Her Funeral will follow at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Rydell officiating.  Committal St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna.

We wish to thank all the doctors, nurses, and friends who helped Sally and her family during her illness.  A special thank you to her close friends, Sarah and Dave Gerarden and Marvin and Ellie Hietpas, for all of their support during these difficult times.

To honor Sally, do something kind for someone else.  She lived her life this way every single day.
