Ruth Fritz, age 96, died Saturday, August 8, 2026. Ruth was born in New London to the late Frank and Ruth (Close) Lenz on August 7, 1930. She married Elmyron Fritz in New London on November 8, 1947.

Ruth is survived by her grandson, Greg (Joelle) Hoelzel; her great grandchildren: Ethan Hoelzel, Luke Novak, and Lydia Novak; and her siblings: Frank Lenz, Lois (Bill) Knott, and Esther Rolf. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Elmyron; her sister Minnie (Chris) Rutten; her daughter, Linda (Robert) Hoelzel; and her grandson, Chris Hoelzel.

Visitation for Ruth will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at O’CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute), beginning at 4:00 p.m. and concluding at 5:45 p.m. Her Funeral will follow at 6:00 p.m. with the Rev. Stanley Draper officiating. Committal Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.
