Roberta L. "Bobbie" Schampers, Combined Locks, age 76, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, January 14, 2019. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 7, 1942 to the late Arthur LaVan and Lillian (Ruppel) Thill. Bobbie married Ronald L. Schampers at St. John Church in Little Chute on May 15, 1961. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2018. Bobbie enjoyed bird watching, fishing, trips to the casino and spending time at the family cottage in Lac du Flambeau. She was a huge Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. She loved her family and her faithful dog, Sophie.

Bobbie is survived by her children: Lisa (Dale) Wolf, Darboy; Ken (Sandy) Schampers, Darboy; Jaimie Bonzelet, Kaukauna; and Shelly (Doug) Vander Wielen, Darboy; grandchildren: Tyler (Chelsea) and Lauren Wolf; Trevor (fiancée Whitney) and Matt Schampers; Heather (Eric) Peterson, Randi (Adam) Krueger and Mike Bonzelet; and Kimberly (Kyle) Stevens; great grandchildren: Brayden, Ethan, Ben, Aria, Aiden, Gabe and Samuel and she was excited to have 1 more on the way; sister-in-law, Sharon (Merle) Schuh; and brother-in-law, Pete Janssen. She is further survived by other relatives, neighbors and friends.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ron; her brother David Hughes, her infant grandson; father and mother-in-law: Ernest and Lorraine (Rutten) Schampers; and sister-in-law Marlene Janssen.

A private family service was held.
