Robert W. "Bob" Glasheen, Sr., Kaukauna, age 74, died peacefully Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Country Villa Assisted Living in Freedom. He was born July 16, 1943 in Appleton to the late William J. and Wilma T. (Derkes) Glasheen. Bob attended Kimberly High School class of 1962. He married Sharon Stygar on March 30, 1968 at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Kimberly.

Bob worked at Presto Products before employment at the City of Kaukauna in December of 1969 where he worked for thirty-four years before retiring on September 30, 2004.

Bob joined the Army Reserve in 1964 and served for twenty-four and a half years. He was honorably discharged on July 8, 1988.

Bob enjoyed camping, fishing, sturgeon spearing, hunting, breakfast with retirees and was excellent at finding deals at rummage sales and auctions.

Bob is survived by his son, Robert P. (Greg Curtiss); sister, Susan DeBruin; brothers, Mike (Kathy), Steve (friend, Bonnie Flegle) and Pat (Ann); and numerous nieces and nephews who affectionately knew him as "Uncle Bob."

In addition to his wife Sharon and his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: James R. and Joseph J.; mother-in-law, Ruth Steffens; father-in-law, John Stygar; and step-fathers-in-law, Irvin Rader and Wally Steffens.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 12:00 Noon. The Rev. Walter Stumpf will officiate.   Military honors, conducted by the Kaukauna V.F.W.
