Obituary

Robert A. "Bob" Ducat, Freedom, age 89 died Sunday November 28, 2010 at Parkside Care Center. He was born in Green Bay on May 15, 1921 to the late William and Nora (Lallement) Ducat. Bob married Alice Puetz on May 8, 1948 at St. Mary's in Stockbridge WI. He proudly served in the Army during World War II as a cryptographer. After many years as a mortgage banker with Mortgage Associates, Bob worked in real estate sales until his retirement. He was an avid golfer, and achieved the golfer's ultimate dream with a hole in one at the Pennisula State Park Golf Course. Bob had a passion for model railroading and he happily shared it with his grandson and twin great-grandsons. He was a proud grandfather that treasured time spent with his grandson and great grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Alice; daughter Kathryn (Brett) Kindness, Little Chute; grandson Sean (Jennifer Sicard) Kindness, Appleton; and their children: Noah, Preston and Hope; brother Donald; sister Marilyn (Richard) Kohl; sisters-in-law: Margaret (Lyle) Tatro, Mary (Bert) Perry and Jean Puetz.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his great granddaughter Auriya; sister Dorothy Ducat; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Marion Ducat, Delores and Gene Riesenweber, Edward and Evelyn Puetz.

Visitation will be held Thursday December 2, 2010 at ST. NICHOLAS PARISH (W2037 County Road S Freedom) from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 12:00 Noon. The Rev. David Hoffman will officiate. Military Rites will immediately follow. Committal St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.

Bob's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Parkside Care Center for their care and concern over the past year.

Peace, Bob … Our loving Husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. We love you. You will truly be missed by all of us.
