Robert L. "Bob" Merrill, Kaukauna, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 16, 2016 with his family at his side. Bob was born on September 30, 1936 to Lucius G. and Elmira L. (Helgeson) Merrill. He graduated from Appleton West High School. Bob worked at Riverside Paper until his retirement. In 1958, he was united in marriage to Marjorie M. Bucholtz until the time of her death in 1981.

Bob is survived by 2 sons: Charles J. (Kay) Merrill of Greenville and Randy R. (Tracy) Merrill of Berlin; step son: Geoffrey (Jenny) Fuerst of Darboy; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is further survived by 3 sisters: Marilyn Quella, Eunice Omet and Donna Mader; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; very special friend, Linda Fuerst; and siblings: Will Merrill, Virginia Sawyer and Ethel Merrill.

To honor Bob's wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date.
