Rita J. Cook, Appleton, age 85, died at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah on Sunday, December 13, 2020. She was born in Milwaukee on February 17, 1935 to the late Ole and Lena (Klaus) Madsen. Rita loved her family more than anything. Rita enjoyed bowling couples and women's leagues. She volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, was an avid reader, and collected bells. Rita worked as a realtor, and in grocery and retail sales. She was a Brewer and Packer fan.

Rita is survived by her daughters: Cindy (Rick) Kraus and Cori (Rod) Lembcke; sons: Chris, Craig (Kathy), Chuck (Karen), Cary (Sue), and Chad (Shannon) Farah; son-in-law, Michael (Jodie) Endres; grandchildren: Melissa (Martin) Young, Chris (Sam) Farah Jr., Eric (Mallory) Farah, Alex (Amanda Rodriguez) Farah, Abby Farah, Hannah Lembcke, Hailey (Brandon) Falish, David Farah, Max Farah, Sami Harwood, Alisha (Casey) Gilbert, Christie (Jason) Knox, and Scott Endres; 15 great grandchildren; special friend, Vern De Bruin; nieces and nephew: Jackie (Mel) Fisher, Patsy Smits, and Dan (Kathy) Butterfield.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Endres; her grandchildren Steffany and Nick Farah; step mother, Lydia Madsen; and her siblings.

The family will gather for a private funeral prior to her committal at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
