Richard A. Van Dyke, Kaukauna, age 63, died Sunday December 1, 2013 with his family at his side. He was born in Green Bay on September 26, 1950 to the late Alvin and Cleta (Rademacher) Van Dyke. Richard married Evelyn Green on April 7, 1970 at St. Paul Church in Wrightstown. He served in the U.S. Army. Dick retired from Fox River Paper after 38 years of employment. He then worked at Bergstrom Chevrolet for 5 years.

Dick may not have had many hobbies but if you ever wanted to know which car was his, all you had to do was find the shiniest one on the lot. If it was the 1960 or any of the many he had through 2011, Dick's cars were his pride and joy.
Dick is survived by his wife of 43 years, Evelyn; sons: Greg (Mary) of Kaukauna; Gary (fiance April) of Appleton; and Chad (Amanda) of Appleton; grandchildren: Amy, Lance, Kristen and Daniel; Alexis and Logan; and Ethan and Emma; sisters: Bonnie (Pat) Landreman and Lois (Gary) Verstegen; sisters and brothers-in-law: Joan (Steve) Demerath, David (Lynn) Green and Michael Green; and Evelyn's step mother: Helen Green. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by Evelyn's parents, Elmer and Lorraine Green; and brother-in-law Dennis Green.

Visitation will be held Wednesday December 4, 2013 at HOLY CROSS PARISH (309 Desnoyer St. Kaukauna) from 2:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 4:00 p.m. The Rev. Thomas Pomeroy will officiate. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery. To sign the guest book, please visit oconnellfh.com.
