Phyllis Ann Vandenberg, Combined Locks, age 84, died Sunday, May 30, 2022.  She was born in Little Chute January 7, 1938 to the late Charles and Adeline Wyngaard.  Phyllis married the love her life, Thomas J. Vandenberg on September 19, 1956 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. Phyllis retired from Thrivent (AAL) where she worked several clerical positions.  Prior to that, she enjoyed her time as a full-time wife and mother who raised 5 children.  Phyllis loved quilting and spending time at their cottage with family.

Phyllis is survived by her sister, Jan Wockenfuss of Kansas; four children: Jeff (Jackie), Little Chute; Dan (Pam), Boulder CO; Mary (Dennis) Vandenbergen, Appleton; and Tim (Amy), West De Pere; grandchildren: Collette and Brian Vandenberg, Tony and Ethan Vandenberg and Rachel (Justin) Hanks; great grandchildren: Devon Vandenberg and Aubree Wolfinger; great-great grandchildren: Dalilah and Emery Johnston; and sister-in-law, Cindy Wyngaard; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; daughter, Jean Vandenberg; brother, Dennis Wyngaard; and sister, Gerry (Dan) Romenesko.
