Peter P.
Rabideau
November 16, 1936 – December 22, 2025
Peter P. Rabideau, Kaukauna, age 89, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 22, 2025, with his daughter and granddaughter by his side. He was born in Appleton on November 16, 1936, to the late Melvin "Stu" and Alma (Feller) Rabideau. Pete was the oldest in the rambunctious Rabideau household of 7 boys, who were raised in Kaukauna. He had a strong work ethic that started as a youth with his paper routes. He then worked in the family businesses, Rabideau gas station and Rabideau TV and Appliance. Pete then opened Pete's Body Shop in 1961 performing auto body repairs and Pete's Camping Center in 1975 selling and renting folddowns and travel trailers.
Many happy memories were shared with his family, especially at his cottage on the Wolf River, which held a very special place in his heart. He cherished spending time with family whether it was weekly breakfast, coffee dates, nature walks, car shows or auctions. Pete also enjoyed vintage vehicles, especially Ford cars and trucks, and watching wildlife in his backyard.
Pete is survived by his daughter, Susan Wolf (Pat Foth), of Darboy; granddaughter, Jessica (Benjamin) Schupp; brothers: Tom, John (Joan), Mark (Bonnie), and Mel (Judy) Rabideau; sister-in-law, Sandi (Steve) LaDuke; and godson, Ryan Rabideau. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin "Stu" and Alma (Feller) Rabideau; Patricia (nee Casey) Rabideau, who he was married to for 20 years; daughter, Debra Rabideau; grandson, Jason Wolf; brothers: Richard "Duke" (Inez "Inie") and Paul (Pat) Rabideau; and sisters-in-law: Mary Jane (Carl) Schmidt and Judy (Jim) Koch.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at HOLY CROSS PARISH (309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna) from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. His Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 Noon with the Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Military honors, conducted by the Kaukauna V.F.W. Post 3319 and American Legion Post 41 will be held following Mass. Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Pete was one of the kindest people you've ever met. He was a cheerful and caring man with a gentle soul.
