Patricia Gail (Pickett) Stordock, Menasha, age 84, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 in Wrightstown, WI. She was born in Appleton on February 13, 1934, the second of three children born to William Sr. and Mabel (Sampson) Pickett. Pat graduated from Appleton High School in the class of 1952. In 1956, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, where she met her future husband, Gilman H. Stordock, Jr. They were married in 1957 in Appleton. Pat retired from teaching in 1968, when the family moved to Ashwaubenon. In 1972, when the youngest child entered school, Pat started working at Shopko, where she worked until she retired from Shopko Wausau in 2012, after nearly 37 years. She moved to Menasha shortly after her retirement to be closer to her family.

Pat's greatest joy was her 4 children and their families. She loved going to their athletic and school functions. Pat also loved camping, going to the cabin and watching the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. She also enjoyed traveling, having been to nearly every state and many countries in Europe and Asia and going to Las Vegas and various casinos.

Survivors include four children: Julie (Mark) Blemberg, James (Sheryl), Steven (Diane) and Jeffrey (Connie); four grandchildren: Karli (Troy) Piper, Jordan Stordock, Eric (Laura) Blemberg and Erin (Nick) Hietpas; and step grandchildren: KrissAnn (Ken) Tressler and Nick McKay. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren: Kendra, Alex and Mason Piper, Natalie and Audrey Blemberg, Bennett, Boden and Brennen Hietpas, Jake, Luke and Chance Tressler and Cecelia McKay; dear friends, Rod and Marcia Stanzak of Wausau; nieces, nephews, cousins, and all the wonderful people she worked with at Shopko.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Gil; her parents; Gil's parents, Gilman Sr. and Vera Stordock; siblings: Bill (Joan) Pickett and infant sister Paula; sisters-in-law: Margurite (Charlie) Bakovic and Shirley (Harry) Kuehl; and nephews, Scott Pickett, Thomas Kuehl and Randy Rakow.

So very many people have touched the life of Pat – as she touched the lives of so very many. We praise the Lord for these abundant blessings. So, do not be saddened today, rather, rejoice with us as her new journey begins!

As per Pat's wishes, there will be no funeral. A private service will be held at a later date. Cards and memorials may be sent to O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute, WI 54140). In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
