Patricia "Pat" C. Soda, age 80, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Ripon Medical Center.  Pat was born on September 27, 1940, in Berlin, Wisconsin to Roman "Pete" and Mary (Chapin) Yagler.  On September 12, 1959 she was united in marriage to Norbert Soda.  She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, Princeton.

Pat was a homemaker, caring for her children and helping on the family farm until the children were grown. She later worked at the Princeton Bakery until her retirement.

Pat enjoyed going to the casino and she loved to play bingo. Her bingo bag, containing her special dabbers and good luck charms was always packed and ready for a gambling road trip.  Pat also enjoyed sitting around the campfire, at the farm, visiting with family and friends; although her lawn chair will now be empty, we are fortunate to have some wonderful memories of time spent with "Grandma".

Pat is survived by her children: Pamela (Alan) Costello, Mark (Angie) Soda, Jeff (Colleen) Soda; six grandchildren:  Cassie (Zach) Walczak, Dustin Soda, Laura (Brett) Daley, Emily (Zach) Hoffman, Rachel Costello, Julia (Luke) Piltz; and six great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters in-law, brothers in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norbert; two daughters, Debra and Jane; her sisters, Mary Ann Kraft and Joan Soda; her in-laws, Joe and Maggie Soda.

Pat's family would like to thank the second-floor nursing staff at Ripon Medical Center for the kindness and compassion that was shown to Pat and her family during her final hours.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
