Obituary

On August 1, 2021 Trish, Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Sister, was welcomed into God's arms at the age of 81.   Trish was born in Little Chute on September 28, 1939 to the late Fritz and Virl (Alger) VandenBoom.  She graduated from St John's High School, Little Chute in 1957. Throughout her life she worked for the Institute of Paper Chemistry, Zwicker's Knitting Mill, Pechman's Photography, Packaging Fulfillment, Larry's Piggy Wiggly and St. Paul Elder Services.
Trish married Eugene Wyro on October 8, 1960 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute.  He preceded her in death on October 19, 2013.
Trish had a creative ability for crocheting, sewing, and painting.  She enjoyed crocheting blankets and Christmas tree skirts, sewing curtains and making clothing for her children and most of all painting memorable items with love from Trish.  Her painting was a past time she loved and shared with many.  Forever remembered will be the hand painted Christmas Ornaments she created for her family.  She continued her love for painting until her hands were not steady enough to do it anymore.
Trish loved spending time with family and friends at the Family Cottage on Robert's Lake. She looked forward to a good game of Cards or Farkle.  She had a competitive edge and she loved to do a little Jig dance in her seat when she was winning.

Trish is survived by her children:  Cindy (Keith) Hietpas, Town of Elllington; Sandy (Brian) Daul, Freedom; Mark (Holly) Wyro, Wrightstown; and Rick (Michele Hoffman) Wyro, Kaukauna.  She is also survived by a very close family friend, Andy (Laurie) Eiting, Kaukauna, who the family considers the "favorite adopted son"; grandchildren:  Ryan (Jessica), Eric (Jessalynn) and Adam (Crysta) Hietpas; Shauna (Matt) Locasha and Travis Daul; Keanna, Abigail Emily, Elliot, and Alex Wyro; Amber and Robbie Hoffman;  great grandchildren:  Ethan, Everett and Emery Hietpas; Hailey Hietpas; Reid, Ty, and Tenley Hietpas; and was excited for the arrival of another great granddaughter; Godchildren:  Patrick Nieuwenhuis, Sal Ebben, Sam Pritzl, and Brad Diedrich; brothers:  Gordon (Delores) Diedrich and Ken (Jo Ann) Diedrick; and brother and sister-in-law:  Lee Pritzl and Donna (Melvin "Bud") Nieuwenhuis.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Eugene, Trish was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Aubrey Wyro; step father, Lester Diedrick; sister, Margaret "Maggie" Pritzl; and father and mother-in-law, Arthur "Pat" and Alma (Joosten) Wyro.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at HOLY CROSS PARISH (309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna) beginning at 12:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 3:00 p.m.  The Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen will officiate.  Committal Holy Cross Cemetery.

The Wyro Family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul Elder and Hospice Services for the exceptional care Trish received.  Also, a special thank you to her daughter-in-law, Holly, who not only cared for Trish at St. Paul Home, but was also a tremendous caregiver to the entire family.
