Orlin Charles "Orlie" Kuehl passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.  He was born to Martin and Eleanor (Schedler) Kuehl on June 8, 1935 in the township of Caledonia.  After graduation from New London High School he took employment at the Institute of Paper Chemistry in Appleton.  There he met Marilyn Vandenberg, his wife to be.  They were married February 14, 1961.  They were blessed with three sons:  Keith (Cindy), Terry and Layne (Chris); four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and four step grandchildren.  He retired in 1999 from Fort James Research Center.

He is further survived by his brother, Marlin (Audrey) of Mesa, AZ.  In addition to his parents, Orlie was preceded in death by his sisters:  Carol (Arden) Toepke and Jorraine (Leland) Goodman; and sister-in-law, Lois (Claude) Hietpas.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 2, 2023 at MT. CALVARY LUTHERAN CHURCH (N8728 Coop Road, Harrison) beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Jesse Johnston officiating.  Burial Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
