Norma R. Meck, Darboy, age 77 died Friday January 28, 2011. She was born in Milwaukee on February 23, 1933 to the late Lawrence and Ivanka (Ukmar) Perko. Norma married Richard Meck on August 7, 1993. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2007. Together, Norma and Richard loved to travel. They visited 49 states and most of Canada in their motor home. Las Vegas was always a favorite destination. Norma and Richard also looked forward to spending time at their cabin in Ironwood, Michigan. Norma was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in Darboy.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Karen (John) Backman, Fremont; grandchildren, Shannon and Nicolas Tweedie; and nephews: Frank, Donald and David Jager.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Helen (Donald) Jager.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH -- DARBOY SITE (W5831 County Rd. KK) beginning at 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 12:00 Noon. The Rev. David Beaudry will officiate. Committal Holy Angels Cemetery.
