Nanette A. Vanderloop, Kaukauna, age 67, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. She was born in Appleton on September 3, 1949, the daughter of Monroe and Claire (Hilgenberg) Schneider. Nanette married Richard Vanderloop in Appleton on September 2, 1969. Nanette loved spending time outside at home watching the birds and wildlife with her husband Dick. She enjoyed spending time at their cottage where she made many memories with family and friends. The hobbies she most enjoyed were knitting, playing volleyball, swimming, walking and basket-weaving. Nanette's greatest treasures were her grandchildren and she spent as much time as she could with them never missing an event.
Nanette is survived by her husband, Richard; children: Holly (Joe Van Pay) Borchert and Chad (Kelly) Vanderloop, both of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Hannah, Sylvia and Satia; mother, Claire Schneider; mother-in-law, Dorothy "Dot" Vanderloop; siblings: Lynn (Tom) Rohlf, Mark (Ev) Schneider, Barry (Tracy) Schneider and Kris Schneider; brothers-in-law: Jack (Angela), Joe (Rosie), Gary (Mary), Mike (Janet), Tim (Bonnie), Tom (Angie) and Jim (Sherry) Vanderloop; and sisters-in-law: Ann Swaningson, Betty (Russ) Natrop, Judy Schley and Lynn (Nick) Popp. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Nanette was preceded in death by her father, Monroe Schneider; father-in-law, Henry Vanderloop; sister-in-law, Patricia Hartl; brothers-in-law, Robert Swaningson, and Rueben Schley.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at PEACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH (2300 Wisconsin Ave. Kaukauna) from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 5:00 p.m. The Rev. Lucretia Fehrmann will officiate. To sign the guest book, please visit oconnellfh.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
Nanette's family would like to thank the staff at UW Madison Hospital, and St. Paul Home for their compassion and care. They would also like to thank family and friends for their support.
