September 7, 1950 – August 13, 2017
Nancy Rollo, 66, passed on to the loving arms of our Lord on August 13, 2017 after a long, brave fight with cancer, surrounded by the people she loved. Nancy was born on September 7, 1950 at St. Elizabeth Hospital to the late Quintin and Dorothy (Kerkhof) Gloudemans.
She was known for her tremendous positive attitude, and her loving and caring personality. She had a selfless nature and fought valiantly through her final years with cancer for her family and friends, whom she cherished. She positively impacted the lives of many people as a long-time manager at Thrivent Financial and Thrivent Federal Credit Union, where she retired in 2012. Nancy was also known for her phenomenal cooking and love of reading and music. Nancy and family were lifelong members of St. John Parish in Little Chute, WI.
Nancy is survived by her husband Gary Rollo, whom she married on July 10, 1970 and with whom she recently celebrated their 47
th
anniversary of wedded love. She is also survived by her children Cory Rollo of Little Chute, Katie (Jeff) Bishop of Pulaski, and Kelly Rollo of Combined Locks; along with her step-grandchildren Bryce and Brooklyn Bishop.
She is further survived by her five brothers and sisters: Lynn Scanlan, Neil (Margaret) Gloudemans, Daniel (Linda) Gloudemans, Mary Gloudemans M.D., and Michael (Denise) Gloudemans; along with her brothers- and sisters-in-law: Margaret (Carl) Vosters, Mary (Lee) Hietpas, Richard Rollo, Rose Rollo and Sister Marguerite Rollo; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she all considered family.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Quintin and Dorothy Gloudemans; her father- and mother-in-law, Louis and Minnie Rollo; brother-in-law, Leo Rollo; and sister-in-law, Anna Mae Rollo.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. The family wishes to thank Drs. Travis Kroner, William Gunther and Anthony Eclavea, along with the nurses and staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology and Theda Regional Medical Center in Appleton for providing such excellent service and care in her times of need.
