Nancy R.
Ourada
June 4, 1939 – October 31, 2022
Nancy (Weyenberg) Ourada, Little Chute, age 83, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Peabody Manor in Appleton. Nancy was born on June 4, 1939 to the late Henry G. and Martha (Lamers) Weyenberg and was raised in Little Chute. After graduating from St. John High School, Nancy married James Ourada on September 5, 1960 at St. John Catholic Church, a union that lasted more than 62 wonderful years. She was a devoted wife, mother and Nana who held a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. Nancy loved to cook and entertain and was happiest when their home or cottage on Kusel Lake was full of family and friends. Nancy also loved traveling, having enjoyed time in Europe, Hawaii and Mexico over the years. In addition to being a wonderful homemaker, Nancy also worked as a Member Service Representative at Capital Credit Union for 17 years.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Jim; children: Jill (Robert) Bartling, Waukesha; Mark (Tracy) Ourada, Austin, MN; and Eric Ourada, Atlanta; grandchildren: Katie Kimball, Adam (Lisa) Bartling, Matthew (Ali) Bartling, Taylor Ourada, Holden Ourada, and Jens Ourada; great grandson, Atlas Kimball; sister, Lynn Verhagen; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Joe Kronzer, Donald (Sue) Ourada, and Michael (Mary) Ourada. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is being welcomed into heaven by her sisters: Shirley Schuh and Carole Kronzer; brothers-in-law, Ronald Verhagen and Ted Schuh; and father and mother-in-law: Fabian and Anne Ourada.
A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Peabody Manor for their compassionate care over the past several years. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital or a charity of choice.
Visitation will be held between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on November 19, 2022 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute) with a Mass officiated by Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen immediately following.
