Obituary

Myra J. "MJ" Langner, formerly of Seymour, age 88, died Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Brewster Village.  She was born in the Town of Maine on June 15, 1934 to the late William and Maude (Johnson) Schinke.  On February 14, 1953 Myra married Donald Langner.  He preceded her in death on May 27, 2019 after 66 years of marriage.  Myra enjoyed Wii bowling, bingo, reading, and camping.  She loved people and was very social.  Even while raising a large family, MJ worked in security with Kmart and Pranges, and then as a matron at the County Jail.  Much of her retirement was spent traveling and camping with the love of her life, her husband Don.

Myra is survived by her children:  Doug (Donna) of Appleton; Ken (Sue) of Shiocton; Chris (Pete) Bolssen of Navarino; Donna (special friend Rick Bichel) Oldenhoff of Athelstane; Rev. Ryan (Robin) of Boscobel; Dawn (special friend Jim Reiland) Wolff of Appleton; Chaplain Randy (Karen) of Iowa; Sandy (Dean) Juliar of Appleton; and Chad; 27 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Midge Pues; sisters-in-law:  Florine Casper, Leona Schinke, Ruth Schinke, Ruth Manteufel, and Fran Langner;  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Don, Myra was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jerry Oldenhoff; twin grandsons, Michael and Patrick; brothers:  Lee Casper, Harold, Carl, and Ben Schinke; sisters:  Louise (Joe) Headlee and Edna (Roger) Jarchow; and brothers and sisters-in-law:  Harley Pues, Raymond Langner, Dorothy (Owen) Gore, and Ron Manteuufel.

Visitation will be held March 5, 2023 at SEYMOUR ASSEMBLY OF GOD (989 Lincoln St. Seymour) beginning at 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Phil Engle officiating, along with Chaplain Randy Langner and Rev. Ryan Langner.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
