Mickey K. Brunette, age 74, died peacefully Monday, September 24, 2018 at his home in Little Chute, WI. He was born in Appleton on October 12, 1943 to the late Theodore and Edna Brunette. Mickey graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1962. Mickey worked at Big Boy in Appleton prior to dedicating his career to Brillion Iron Works until his retirement in 2012. He married Lizabeth "Linskens" Doyle on November 2, 1991.

Mickey is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lizabeth; son: Jesse Brunette (wife: Kenda) of Green Bay, WI and daughter: Heather "Doyle" Swenson (fiancee: David) of Lincoln, NE and grandchildren: Paige and Wesley Swenson (father: Richard) of Lincoln, NE. He is further survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mickey will be remembered for his love of the church, woodworking, handiness, cooking (everyone loved those homemade potato chips) and acts of kindness. His family and friends were also very proud of his many years of sobriety. Mickey was a very unselfish giving person, who will be dearly missed by his family, friends and especially his loving wife Lizabeth.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS LUTHERAN CHURCH (N1615 Meadowview Drive, Greenville, WI 54942) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. followed by a short Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Steve. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, PLEASE PERFORM A RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS IN HONOR OF HIM.
