Michele Marie Ann "Micki" Hoerning, Fox Crossing, age 67, died at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.  She was born on May 29, 1955 in Appleton, the daughter of Melvin Vanderlinden and Hazel (Thompson) Vanderlinden.  Micki married Wilbert Hoerning, Sr. on September 16 ^th , 1972 at Sacred Heart Church in Appleton, Wisconsin.   She was a devoted U.S. Marine Corps wife and worked at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina as a special services accountant.  Micki was a team mother for Tony's sports and enjoyed bowling and collecting Lennox decorative birds.

Micki is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wilbert, Sr.; son, Tony (Julie) Hoerning, Jr. of Menasha; siblings:  Debra (Robert) Sokel, Michael (Jerri) Vanderlinden; Shari (Bill) Block, Theresa (Michael) Kilbane, Suzanne (Thomas) Deuster, and James (Shelly) Vanderlinden; sister-in-law, Judith Koslowski; and close friend, Cindy Van Linn.  She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Micki was preceded in death by her father and mother, Melvin and Mary Hazel Vanderlinden; father and mother-in-law, Lester and Hildegarde Hoerning; and brother-in-law, Otis Koslowski.

In accordance with Micki's wishes, a private family gathering was held.
