Michael J. Kugel, Kaukauna, aged 70, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 28, 2025.  He was born in Shawano on February 27, 1955. Mike was a Patternmaker his entire career.  He enjoyed watching fastpitch softball, fishing, woodworking, building models, and cheering on the Badgers.

Mike is survived by his wife, Lisa; his children: Amber (Allen) Albrecht, Troy (fiancé Eddie), and Lindsay (Nicholas) Wernicke; grandchildren: Jackson, Harper, and Addison Albrecht, Theo, Luna and Wyatt Wernicke; and bonus granddaughters: Mackenzie, Arianna and Ava Monroe.  He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Audrey Janssen; siblings: Kathy Koehler, Kristine (Brad) Thomas, and Michelle (Brian) Mahoney; brothers-in-law: Dick Janssen and Bruce (JoAnn) Janssen; sisters-in-law: Diane DeBlieck and Amy (Jay) Ourada; and nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, James and Geraldine (Reetz) Kugel; his father-in-law, Paul Janssen; and brother, Steven Kugel.

Visitation will be held at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. His Funeral will follow at 5:00 p.m. with the Rev. Lynn Martin officiating.
