Maynard A. Borchert, Kaukauna, age 86, died at ThedaCare Medical Center in Waupaca on Sunday, May 22, 2022.  He was born in Lanark, WI on June 8, 1935 to the late Arnold and Eva (Morgan) Borchert.  Maynard owned and operated Northside Welding and Fabrication in Kaukauna.  Prior to working for himself, he worked at Fox Tractor in Appleton.  Maynard was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting and camping.

Maynard is survived by his wife, Janice; children:  Neal (Cindy) Borchert, Pat (Dave) Vanden Bloomer, Mike (friend Fran) Borchert, Steve (friend Linda) Borchert, Alvin (Laurie) Crochet, and Alison (Domingo) Ramirez; grandchildren:  Darren (Amber) Borchert, Carrie (Kasey) Meyer, Christopher (Angie) Boehnlein, Melissa (Josh) Anderson, Amanda (Jordon) Hereford, Sonya (Jack) Zuelzke, Heather (Shawn) Conrad, Alan Crochet, Levi Borchert, Logan Borchert, and Hannah Borchert; siblings:  Diane Pagel and Rollie (fiancée Evie) Borchert; and his children's mother, Faye.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Maynard was preceded in death by his step son, Danny Crochet; brothers:  Leonard and Randy (Karen) Borchert; sister, Shirley Jansen; and brother-in-law, Jack Pagel.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  Committal Kelso Cemetery.
