Mary A. Slak, Kimberly, formerly of East Troy, died peacefully at her home on Monday, May 13, 2019. She was born in Milwaukee to the late Edmund and Margaret Slak (Skotzke). Mary founded Monarch Window Fashions in 1993. She was well respected in the interior design industry and known for her outstanding work. Prior to opening her business, she also was a real estate agent and worked at the United Performing Arts Center (UPAF) for over 20 years.

Mary is survived by her children: Lee Ann (Bill) Madsen and Alison Seidl (Hank Bons); sister, Terri Seib; grandchildren: Erik and Liza Madsen, Sonya Bautista (Danny), Sheryl Grudzinski (Jim Casper), and Kanise (Dale) Marriott; several great grandchildren; and great great grandchild. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Alan Skarzynski; and brothers: Robert (Mary's twin), Eddy and Dan Slak.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Vincent De Groot officiating.
