Mary
Loewenhagen
January 12, 1933 – February 2, 2021
Mary Loewenhagen, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 88. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Wilfred "Wolfie" Loewenhagen, who considered her the prettiest girl in Appleton. She is also survived by daughters: Lynn Artz, Sharon (Dave) Bloomer, and Kathy Helms; son, Dan (Cindy); granddaughters: Amy Aumend and Geena Helms; and great grandchildren: Gavin and Ava.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rose Schuldes; sister, Judi Schuldes; sons-in-law: Steve Heinz and Paul Artz; and grandson Shawn Bloomer.
She began her career at Zwicker Knitting Mills and later worked for Zaug's Vending.
In her earlier years, Mary enjoyed making many different types of crafts and was highly skilled at knitting, crocheting, sewing and needlepoint. She shared her talents with many people in her time as the head of the Fabric and Crafts department at H.C. Prange Company and her customers would often seek out her help for guidance. Her children were gifted with many beautiful hand-made items that will always be cherished.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no visitation.
Special thanks to the compassionate caregivers at Cherry Meadows Hospice for their loving care.
There comes a day when we can't be together. We'll keep you in our hearts, where you'll stay forever.
