Mary A. Kempen, Kaukauna, age 76, died Monday, March 12, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in Appleton on June 22, 1941 to the late Lawrence and Bernadine (Santo) Sipple. Mary worked at Johnson Controls for 18 years before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and the occasional cocktail. Mary liked to play cards, including poker and 31, and watching QVC and the Hallmark Channel. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing bingo. Mary especially loved playing cribbage with her daughter and grandson.

Mary is survived by her children: Ann (Bill) Joosten of Kaukauna and Paul Roocks of Little Chute; her only grandson and pride and joy, Eric (Breanna) Joosten; and brother, John (Rita) Sipple. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Sipple.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 7:00 p.m. Deacon Vincent De Groot will officiate. Committal St. Mary Cemetery, Appleton.
