Obituary

Mary S. Hamby, Neenah, age 72, died at her home on Friday, August 26, 2022.  She was born in Escananba, Michigan to the late Albert J. and Elaine M. (Derocher) Martin.  Mary married Arthur Freiberg, Jr. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church on March 20, 2010.   She earned an associate's degree in accounting and worked in various positions, including Fleet Farm and retiring as branch manager at Appleton Bank (2010).  In Mary's free time, she loved to nestle in a cozy chair and blanket, while spending hours reading and playing games on her iPad. She found excitement with decorating her home and even created a "grandchildren picture wall" to honor and show off her beloved grandkids. Mary was  an avid member of her church and found strong spiritual connection, not only from the sermons given, but with the kindhearted people she connected with there. Mary also enjoyed spending time at the camper with Art & their dog Rosie, where they spent quality time together & often reflected on their life memories. Her most favorite activity of all was holding hands with her love, Art & exchanging words of love and appreciation for one another. Mary's love of her family, friends, and church filled her spirit with absolute joy.

Mary is survived by her husband of 12 years, Art;  her children Robert Kropidlowski of Fox Crossing and Michael Martin of Green Bay whom she shared with former spouse Robert James Kropidlowski, Sr  and grandchildren:  Mackenzie and Eric Kropidlowski.   She is further survived by her loving step children, step grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her  husband, Ron Hamby (2002); and her sister, Judy Moore.

Visitation will be held September 19, 2022 at ST.
