Mary A. Gloudemans

Mary A. Gloudemans, age 83, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, September 5, 2026. She was born in Appleton to the late Frank “Duce” and Cyrilla “Sis” (Baeten) Weyenberg on November 14, 1942. Mary married the love of her life and her best friend, Jerry Gloudemans, on June 22, 1961, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. Together, they raised their children in a home rooted in faith and family. After spending many years at home raising the kids, Mary was proud to later work at Paper Seconds. She and Jerry also enjoyed time spent camping up north at White Clay Lake, where many good memories were made.

Above all, Mary’s faith and her family were at the center of her life. She rarely missed a sporting event for her children or grandchildren and was always proud to be there cheering them on. Holidays held a special place in her heart, especially for the opportunity they brought to have everyone together. In more recent years, she took great joy in seeing new pictures of the kids appear on her digital frame. More than anything, Mary loved watching her family grow and treasured the time she had with them.

Mary is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jerry; her five children: Dave (Julie) Gloudemans, Steve Gloudemans, Dianne (Bill) Vande Voort, Mark (Mary) Gloudemans, and Mike (Kari) Gloudemans; her grandchildren: Mackenzie (special friend Kevin), Colin (Tricia), and Spencer Gloudemans; Adam (Rachel) Gloudemans and Jenn (Jon) Hietpas; Corey (Allison), Eric (Jen), and Tyler (Kasey) Vande Voort; Katie and Matthew Gloudemans; and Grant, Wade, and Claire Gloudemans; and her great grandchildren: Landon, Bryce, Parker, and Grace; Jack, Lucy, and Archie; Cameron, Molly, and Bennett; Oliver, Addy, Emily, and Bethany; Aubrey, Max, and Nathan; and Charlie and Tanner. Mary is further survived by her brother, Carl Weyenberg; and her siblings-in-law: Norm Coenen, Pat (Jerry) Van Hoof, and Bill (Carol) Gloudemans.

In addition to her parents, Mary is reunited with her daughter-in-law, Ellen Gloudemans; her parents-in-law, Florence and William Gloudemans; and her siblings-in-law, Rose Coenen and Tom Gloudemans.

Visitation for Mary will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute) beginning at 2:00 p.m. and concluding at 3:45 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ronald Belitz officiating. Committal St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
