Obituary

On Saturday, September, 11, 2021, Mary Fischer passed away. She had many accomplishments in her life time, overcoming obstacles that would have stopped so many.

She owned two jewelry stores (Fischer Jewelry) in Appleton, and repaired electric razors. She sold land in Florida, had a bookkeeping and tax service, sold Mary Kay, headed up the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon in Green Bay, and was a member of a sorority. She even knew Dan Blocker (Hoss Cartwright) on Bonanza. She gave up being a pilot to get married, Thank god because we would not be here.

She was very talented including her crafts, oil painting, cake decorating

But her most amazing accomplishment was raising six children by herself, (Lenny Fischer, Brenda Phillips, Montie Fischer, Sherie Fischer, Kevin Fischer and Craig Fischer), and we will forever be grateful.

She is survived by a sister, Selma Tarman (Richard); and two brothers, Otto Pena (Kay) and John Pena (Eileen).

She had 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Galow; and great grandson, Brandon Carman.

She was nothing short of a miracle, and the world has lost a Monarch.
