Mary E. (Day) Williams, age 85, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019. She was born on July 13, 1934 in Appleton to Herman and Effie Zschaechner. Mary married Kenneth F. Day on March 27, 1952. Ken preceded her in death in 1980 and she later married Norman Williams. He preceded her in death in 2003.

Mary is survived by her children: Len (Natalie) Greenwood of Oregon and their children, Justin, Gabe, Kate and Troy; Dennis (Donna) Day of Kimberly and their children: Craig (Tanya) and their children Tyler and Trent, Brad (Emilie) Day and their children, Gracie and Maddie; Michael Day of Appleton; and granddaughter, Kimberly (Shawn) Aull and their children, Tyler, Dallas and Briar.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; both of her husbands; daughter, Barbara (Jim) Aellig; and other relatives.

A celebration of life will be held at Highland Memorial Park on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Care Partners of Appleton, especially Rhonda and Charlene, and also to Compassus Hospice Care.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
